§ 46-5. Library board elections.

  • Two members of the board shall be elected at the regular city election in November 1991, for a term of four years, and such additional number as may be required to fill any vacancy pursuant to section 3 of chapter XVI of the city's Charter. Four members of the board shall be elected at the regular city election in November 1993, and such additional number as may be required to fill any vacancy pursuant to section 3 of chapter XVI of the city's Charter. The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes in the November 1993 election shall be elected to a term of four years. The one candidate receiving the next highest number of votes at such election shall be elected to a term of two years.
