§ 46-4. Commissioner elections.

  • Two commissioners shall be elected at the regular city election in November 1991, for terms of four years, and such additional number as may be required to fill any vacancy pursuant to section 27 of chapter III of the city's Charter. Five commissioners shall be elected at the regular city election in November 1993, and such additional number as may be required to fill any vacancy pursuant to section 27 of chapter III of the city's Charter. The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes in the November 1993 election shall be elected to terms of four years. The two candidates receiving the next highest number of votes at such election shall be elected to terms of two years.
