§ 22. [Other provisions.]

All provisions of law inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, provided that retirement allowance and pensions being paid retired members and beneficiaries as of the effective date of this amendment shall be continued in accord with provisions of this chapter heretofore in force.
