§ 22. Withdrawal of name from petition.

Latest version.

Any signer of an initiative or referendum petition may withdraw his signature from such petition within twenty-one (21) days after a petition is filed with the city clerk by filing with the city clerk a request for withdrawal signed by him. If a number of such requests are so filed to reduce the number of signatures on said petition below the number required hereby, the city clerk shall follow the procedure as outlined in section 16 above.
